The Live Commentary Team would love to bring you some scintillating news, but the truth is that they are just ploughing through 40 set dances in the 12 Years section. This is, of course, a good thing as it means the section is large and vibrant, and that is good for Irish Dancing in NSW and Australia.
However, a dancer by dancer commentary is not only beyond the skill of this correspondent, but it also makes for rather dull reportage. So, apart from the fact that the competition is running late, is out of food and has no chocolate crackles, there is little to update at the moment. The hall is so dark that it is impossible to take almost any type of photo of them marshalling without using a flash - and that isn't going to happen while dancing is on!
