Competition will start at about 0900, in the meantime, the hall is slowly filling with the 7 & 8 years who will be followed by the 14 years.
Cold and overcast describes the Sydney weather, and it is like that in the hall as well. The lighting is a little low and the heating hasn't been turned on, so there a lots of of people rugged up, including at least one child in a bunny rug!!
The famous canteen is not open, so the several hundred people here will have to wait.......and wait.....
