Welcome to the 2013 Gold Coast International Irish Dancing Championships

What a fabulous day we have at the Gold Coast!  The sun is shining, the birdies are singing and the sound of light-rail construction heralds a new era in transport...even if they do work all through the night :)

This year the Feis is back at the Gold Coast, having spent the last few years at the confusing Tweed Heads which is on the border of NSW and QLD and can't quite make up its mind which it wants to be. We are at the Albert Waterways Community Centre, a previous location for the Feis and conveniently situated over the road from Pacific Fair.

And, the competition has now been taken over by AIDA QLD and rebranded as the Gold Coast International Irish Dancing Championships to reflect the nature of the international competitors and adjudicators.

Our adjudicators are:

• Janice Currie-Henderson ADCRG AUS, and Patron of the Australian Irish Dancing Association
• Julie Evans-O'Donnell ADCRG IRE
• Lorraine Scallon ADCRG IRE

And music is by the amazing Sean O'Brien AUS.

It is going to be a great weekend of dancing :)
