A prominent Victorian family, who shall remain la nameless, caused quite a stir the other night in their attempt to reinvent the traditional method for cooking rice. Apparently, the new method involved two ups of rice, two cups of water and about 40 minutes in the microwave on high. The result could best be described as fusion, primarily of the rice, water and plastic container!
Once the fire alarm was silenced and the attractive and muscular firemen arrived to check on the status, it was determined the coast was clear and the offending la nameless was duly chastised. Apparently the la mother thought this would be an excellent opportunity to offer the aforementioned firemen some wine.
Perhaps it was a cunning way to meet well-built and responsible men :)
