Welcome to the Christchurch Competitions Society Feis

ChaosCentral has ventured across the ditch to the shaky isles....

What is the Christchurch Competitions Society? From their own website, chchcomps.org.nz

"The Festival of Arts has been running for 102 years and this year, the competitions will be held during 15 - 31st of July 2011.

Despite the devastating impact the earthquake of 22nd February 2011 has had on Christchurch, the Society has decided to continue with the Festival of Arts this year because we strongly believed that the young people of Canterbury and beyond needed to have a platform to perform and compete in the Arts.

We believe that the Arts provide motivation and inspiration for the community and we will strive to give to the young people of Canterbury an opportunity to turn tragedy into inspiration."
