Premiership set dances now on stage...
After these dancers, we will have treble reel step abouts, then presentations! Looks like we are running exactly on time with presentations any time from 1745, followed by the Champions' Step About any time from 1815.

Newest feis game, hunt the diamante!
Kathleen McAleer is being guided, if that is the correct statement, by at least a dozen people in the audience on a diamante/bobby pin hunt on the stage. Just needed shouts of "warmer" or "colder" to make it the "must play" game at your next feis.
ChaosCentral is currently creating rules for the game and is welcoming suggestions for penalties and prizes, once we figure out how to make the rules impossible to follow and, perhaps, not published to the players. That should make it more fun!

Beginner/Novice presentations just completed

Feis update - no lunch break today!
With a day jam-packed with dancers, it was just announced that there is no official lunch break today. The adjudicators have been taking turns at getting some food and drink, otherwise they would collapse with a sugar deficit!Parents and the dancers’ support crews were advised to get food whenever they wanted, and the aroma arising from the BBQ is wonderful :)
Still no chocolate crackles sighted….
Feis update
ChaosCentral has been rather busy manually entering 8,297 results from yesterday and today and has somewhat neglected the regular feis update duties. Sometimes one needs to prioritise and, after all, there were two enquiries on our private phone number wanting to know what happened yesterday :)
So, manual updates now completed, we can happily advise that the feis is running on time and that there are dancers on stage. As we can only hear the music, it seems safe to assume that they are doing soft shoe dances of some variety. Those with a more keen appreciation of ID and with access to LiveCam would be able to hear, in glorious mono quality, exactly what is happening, in real time (or should that be reel time?)
