The team dancers are powering through their sections to a small but appreciative crowd. During the lunch break, a short tour to the Christchurch "Red Zone" was organised for those wishing to see the "living history" of the area.
ChaosCentral was, in the meantime, fighting first with TelecomNZ who stopped the internet connection because we (stupidly) ran out of credit on our mobile broadband connection. They then applied the updated funds not to the broadband plan, but to casual use, which meant the plan ran out in 45 minutes!
And now the US-based LiveStream server is not accepting connections, so LiveCam can't broadcast. But we can still type and take photos and will do both!
Pies from the canteen are very hot and enjoyable, the hall is now wonderfully warm and the dancers and parents are happy. Vince Mortimer, the MC today, is in fine mettle and providing great amusement to the audience. Rumour has it that this afternoon he will don a dress for a two-hand with the broom. Wonder what music he will choose?
