Welcome to Sunday at the Claddagh

Those visiting from Melbourne would be familiar with the weather that greets us this morning - cold, raining on-and-off and generally not so nice.  Perfect Sorrento Beach weather!  The hall is very cold this morning so attendees are advised to bring blankets, warm jackets, personal heating devices and anything else they can to keep themselves warm.

Apart from that, the hall is filling with the 8 Years and under sections, full of energy and excitement for their day's dancing.  The feis is ready to go, apart from the adjudicators who are probably still warmly rugged up somewhere.

Yesterday's feis was a triumph of organisation - by lunchtime we were running about an hour late, but by the end of the day we were slightly early.  With today's competition due to finish around 1600, we may all get out while it is still daylight.

And a usually reliable source has suggested that there may be a secret stash of chocolate crackles today - but don't tell anyone :)
