In arena 1, the 10 Years are dancing their hard shoe round, three at a time on stage. In arena 2, the 11 Years are doing the same. This post is brought to you by ChaosCentral (the old management) as the LiveCommentary production complex (table behind stage in arena 2) is sparsely populated by yesterday's helpers....or to be exact, there is no one here but me :)
So, in the absence of talented comment, you are stuck with me for a while....and I can reliably inform the gentle viewer that there isn't a single chocolate crackle in sight.
However, there is some fabulous dancing and the hall is very responsive to each group as they finish there dance. As they come from the stage, they are presented with their certificates of attendance at the Nationals. In between puffing and wheezing (it is very strenuous), they raise a smile, accept the certificate and beat a hast retreat to parents, water and soft shoes.
The musicians are playing up a storm - lots of feeling and great rhythm, and in today's fashion statement, Sean O'Brien is wearing a stylish bandanna.
