Welcome to the 2011 Fisher's Ghost Feis

A crisp Sydney morning greets competitors at today's dancing - and a significant improvement from Christchurch from here ChaosCentral has just arrived.

The Campbelltown Irish Association are renowned for organising and running a fantastic competition, and this competition is possibly the only one run by an Irish Association rather than directly by AIDA or a school.

The dancing program is as follows:

1130 9/10 yrs

1500 15/16 yrs

1645 17 & over
1900 Presentation

Our adjudicator is Monica Poulton ADCRG, musician is iPod.

  • In the 7 Years Premiership, there are seven dancers competing for the Morris Family Cup.
  • In the 8 Years Premiership, there are 13 dancers competing for the J Viness Trophy and the 8 Years Boys are competing for the Campbelltown Irish Association Shield.
  • In the 6 Years Premiership, there are eight dancers competing for the Campbelltown Irish Association Shield.
  • In the 9 Years Premiership, there are eight dancers competing for the Dean Family Trophy.
  • In the 10 Years Premiership, there are 18 dancers competing for the C & R Neal Trophy.
  • In the 15 Years Premiership, there are ten dancers competing for the Kathleen Wade Memorial Trophy.
  • In the 16 Years & Under Boys Premiership, there are four dancers competing for a trophy donated by Maureen's Nail Bar.
  • In the 16 Years Girls Premiership, there are ten dancers.
  • In the 17 Years & Over Boys Premiership, there are six dancers.
  • In the 17 Years Girls Premiership, there are seven dancers competing for the Clonmell and Cahir Trophy.
  • In the 18 Years Girls Premiership, there are nine dancers competing for the Champion Family Trophy.
  • In the 19 Years & Over Ladies Premiership, there are 24 dancers competing for the Ellaby Perpetual Trophy.
And the younger age groups are now on stage doing their soft shoe dances.
