ChaosCentral has returned but is still sans video technology. Last night, the equipment was given a stern talking-to and placed next to containers of water by way of threatening it - no change. Then, a small degree or percussive maintenance was undertaken, again with no positive result. Finally, and out of complete desperation, we went to the internet and downloaded and read the device manuals - truly a sign of desperation. Sadly, none of the actions worked, so we are still without video.....
However, today the hall is full and the canteen is in full-flight. Fabulous baked goods, sausage sizzle, chocolate crackles (YES!!!!!) and other fine food is available. As an architectural update to our readers, I was reliable informed by a reputable source that Petersham Town Hall is Art Nouveau and *not* Art Deco. ChaosCentral stands corrected and pleads exceptional circumstances - I was probably playing cards at Uni when those lectures were on :)
