In the hall we have the 4 Years and the 21 & Over...nice contrast!
Mini gourmet food update
ChaosCentral was delivered some home-made, artisan, heritage wheat and dairy, manually constructed pikelets by Amanda Finneran. There is no accompanying photo as the aforementioned comestibles vanished moments after delivery. However, we can report that they tasted as good as the photos of them on Facebook - actually, better...because they were hand delivered, although the Pikelet-Morrison exchange rate is yet to be determined.
In other feis-related news, the 6 Years & Under are dancing their way through their assorted dances and some of these dancers are only just 4 years old! They stride confidently onto the stage, stand at their correct spots and then...off they go!

Welcome to Sunday at the INDA Feis!
Contrary to yesterday's weather forecast which suggested life-vests and anchors as suitable attire for the weekend, we have arrived at Strathfield to an overcast but mild morning - neither rain nor wind has greeted us although the weather prognostications suggest that knowing how to tread water may come in useful later in the day...
The hall is full of the younger age groups this morning; the future of Irish Dancing is on display at one of the longest-running competitions in Australia. The names on some of the trophies reads like a Who's Who of Irish Dancing History in Australia.
The hall is buzzing and the canteen is fully operational. A full gourmet food report will be made later, but initial forays into the extensive menu suggests that the coffee and bacon & egg rolls are hard to beat :)
