Gourmet food report

An early one today!!  Apart from the wonderful latte from Cathy & Colbee, the canteen has been restocked and has a wide range of home-made food.  Not home-made as in a supermarket, but really made in the home of various parents!  ChaosCentral is enjoying a free-range egg, lettuce and mayonnaise sandwich on wholemeal bread;  must be a Tasmanian thing, never had free-range mayonnaise before, but it is delicious!

There is also a wide range of cakes and biscuits but sadly, no cappuccinos or chocolate crackles :(

And we are off and racing!!

The 8 Years & Under Beginners teams are now dancing, very enthusiastically and using the whole stage; somewhat to the amusement of the other team who suddenly had another two hand team in their space.

All smiles though and they continued to dance beautifully.

A big thank-you to Colbee and Catherine for supplying the early morning latte, greatly appreciated and it will help keep the LiveCommentary sane for a little while.  More information on the Melbourne International Invitation Feis as it comes to hand - whispers of booking Federation Square are beginning to circulate!

Welcome to Sunday at the 2012 Tasmanian Festival of Irish Dancing

A lovely warm day greets us at the Friends School, slightly overcast but no signs of snow.  Today's dancing consists of the 12 Years & Under and there will be a feast of dancing for all.  A special highlight is the "Dance to the Music" section, just before lunch.  This will be broadcast on LiveCam, so be sure to watch.
