15 Years and Over Intermediate

15 Years and Over Intermediate are about to start their set dances. We are flying through the sections and I guess its possible that the 16 Years and over may start a little early.

Its a little chilly in the hall but not too bad. Probably nice for the dancers but not so nice for families. I have to dispute the comment from the earlier mod. It must be at least 12 here in Canberra today!!! A beautiful winters days the sun is streaming down and its rather lovely!

The intermediate 15 & under, open 13y and open 14y are now doing their soft shoe, two at a time.

Breaking (sic) news

Fiona Dunne has just arrived at the competition with Liz Gregory, and Fiona is on crutches! It is a dancing injury - photos to follow.

14 years now doing their first dance

Hard shoe, three at a time. There are seven in the section, five in the 13 years and four in the intermediate 15 years & over.

The stage is being prepared for competition and the dancers are getting ready. Canberra has turned on a beautiful winter's day - sunny, scattered clods and about 10C - positively balmy!

Competition is due to start about 13:30 - stay tuned aqnd remember to click on the advertiser's links if there is something of interest. Every click brings a high-speed mobile service closer for this live commentary.

Would you pay AIDA Australia for a live video feed of the Australian Nationals?

This could be a good source of income for AIDA Australia, and also be a service to people within Australia and overseas who are unable to attend.

There is a poll for you to vote, just to the right of this entry.
