Final two

The final two competitors for the Senior Girls 16 years take the stage...
We will have the recall numbers for you as soon as they are available.

In the mean time, we will shortly be commencing the Senior mens and ladies 18 years here in Arena 2.

23 x slip jig

23 slip jigs to be danced... although two at a time, so that would make it 11 and a half... well, twelve.

Our musicians for the morning session are Sean and Gerry who obviously were very sensible and got an early night last night so that they would be prepared to deliver some really great tunes for us today (they've played all my favourites)

Senior girls second round

The senior girls 16 years are now commencing their second round with competitors 122 and 123, dancing the slip jig.

A short pause whilst we wait for our last competitor to take the stage - competitor 160 redancing.

In just a few moments we will be continuing with the Senior boys 16 years second round.

And here they are in marshalling….

Senior girls first round

Currently on stage dancers 145 and 146... leaving us with about twenty to go in the first round.

16 Years in marshalling

After a slight delay with music problems, they are now dancing their hard shoe round.

Super Saturday has arrived!

Three big age groups are on today, 16, 17 & 18 Years - and they are all highly competitive.  It will be an interesting day's competition, between celebrations last night for the senior dancers and then the AIDA cruise through the canals, there could be quite a few people moving slightly more slowly today.  The weather for the weekend is ideal for dancing - overcast with the occasional shower.  Inside, the temperature is heating up as dancers arrive.  It will be a long day, with the last presentation scheduled to start at 2100.

Today, all dancing is scheduled to be in Arena 2, with the exception of the 16 & 18 Years recalls.  The dancing programme is:
