Cheerio to Jay

Nick says hi Jay I wish you were here I am bored out of my brain and if you were here we could have fun annoying my mum. Next year make sure you come.

The 14 years have finished their first round

Good News -

The dancer who fell is well enough to redance.

14 Years girls - Past Winners

The past three winners have been Gianna Petracic, Ashleigh Smith and Erin Trevena

14 Years Girls

The dancing has recommenced after the fall. The competitors are dancing for the Florence Emily Ransley Memorial Trophy. Craig Henderson has come out to sweep the stage free of pins and diamontes. His broom has great turnout.

Intermediate 14 Years Girls - Injured Dancer

A competitor has fallen and will not be redancing. She was helped from the stage by a leprechaun.

Today's dancing

Intermediate Boys 14 Years are competing for the Carrick Perpetual Trophy and the AIDA WA Belt (1st Place) and the Fogarty Family Trophy (2nd Place) and there are 14 dancers in this section.

Intermediate Girls 14 Years are competing for the Florence Emily Ransley Memorial Trophy and the Bill & Mae Ayres Memorial Tiara (1st Place) and the Soutar Family Trophy (2nd Place) and there are 109 dancers in this section.

They are dancing NOW!!

We are getting closer!!

There is an air of urgency in the practice area - teachers are running around and the dancers are becoming restless. Practice has slowed and their are more people with contemplative looks on their faces. Parents and dancers alike - different feelings aiming towards a similar goal....

Winkipop are available now for photographs, their studio setup is usually open very early so you can get a great photo of that new dress!

Message from Alison

Hello Kylie, Trinity and Brianna!!!!

Special Offer of the Day !!!!!

We have a great offer for you today. The first person to buy a Mary Skotnicki or Kathryn Trenholme dress from Mary Skotnicki's stand in the vendor area, will get the dress at HALF PRICE - that's right, a 50% discount!!

So hurry and be quick - this offer is only for the first dress sold. Don't miss out!!!

Welcome to Thursday!!

An early start this morning. Geelong has welcomed us with an overcast morning, but spirits are high at The Arena where people are streaming in for the morning's dancing. The 13 and 14 Years dance today in the morning, with teams in the afternoon, the the place will be full all day.

The 13 and 14 Years groups are very competitive and the practice floor is alive with the sound of trebles.

Coffee is, of course, one of the essentials of ID life and most people are now arriving with hot coffees from outside establishments. The coffee served in-house is OK, but not barrista standard, so people are voting with their feet (or hands?)

More news as it comes to hand - or can be made up :)
