While the 11 Years are dancing on the main stage, the 9 Years are doing their sets on the recall stage. Adjacent to the recall stage is a canteen which is serving very interesting food. For $10 you have a choice of chicken parmagiana, T-bone steak ans several other dishes. There are also salads, rolls and the more traditional irish dancing heath foods, such as chips, wedges etc.
Outside the main hall is another canteen serving similar food - next to it is a bar, but it isn't open yet. No sign of chocolate crackles anywhere in the venue.
Geelong has turned on a beautiful day, after a cool start the day has warmed up to the low 20s, light cloud and a gentle breeze. Perhaps not outdoor swimming weather, but perfect for dancing.
