Welcome to Sunday at the 2015 ACT State Championships

A crisp and clear morning greets us today, very pleasant and made more so because the hall is heated and it is working!  The stage is lit, LiveCam is on and dancers are practising for their team dances; this morning it is the Junior teams.  There is also solo dancing today :)

• The Junior Girls 12 Years are dancing for the Jean Muir Thompson Memorial Tiara donated by the Dulley Family; there are 10 dancers in this section.
• The Junior Boys 12 Years are dancing for the Omagh Memorial Trophy donated by Liz Gregory; there is 1 dancer in this section.
• The Intermediate Girls 13 Years are dancing for a trophy donated by Joe Salib and the AIDA ACT Tiara; there are 8 dancers in this section.
• The Intermediate Girls 14 Years are dancing for a trophy donated by Trish & Tony Williams and the AIDA ACT Tiara; there are 4 dancers in this section.
• The Junior Men have 2 competitors in their section; at the time of going to press, it was unclear if there is a trophy for this section.

Dancing is due to start at 0945, neither adjudicators nor musician are here yet, they were probably our celebrating the Wallabies win over the All Blacks....
