Welcome to Super Saturday at the Nationals!!

A very cool day in Geelong, but with the sun struggling to get through some high clouds. What a day it will be today - the older age groups are dancing and there will be a feast of frocks and wigs.

Dancing starts at 0830 and the dancing order is as follows:

Senior Boys 16 Years are competing for the Catherine-Anne & Jennifer Louise Oxenham Trophy and the Robert Trenholme Belt (1st Place) and the Dankers Family Perpetual Trophy (2nd Place) and there are seven dancers in this section.

Senior Girls 16 Years are competing for the Treacy Ryan Memorial Trophy and the Fiona-Gaye Snowden Memorial Tiara (1st Place) and the Christie Burns Perpetual Trophy (2nd Place) and there are 56 dancers in this section.

Junior Men 17 Years are competing for the Tomas O Fairchellaigh Memorial Trophy and there are five dancers in this section.

Junior Ladies 17 Years are competing for the Dwyer-Whelan Perpetual Trophy, the Elizabeth "Lily" Claro Memorial Trophy and the Patrick & Carole McCabe Tiara (1st Place), the McAleer Family Trophy (2nd Place) and the Aileen O'Kane Trophy (3rd Place) and there are 43 dancers in this section.

Mens 19 & 20 Years are competing for the Conway O'Connor Memorial Trophy and the Celtic Belt Shield (1st Place) and the Irish Chamber of Commerce & Industry Trophy (2nd Place) and there are four dancers in this section.

Ladies 19 & 20 Years are competing for the Martin Fogarty Trophy and the Caroline O'Connor Trophy (1st Place), the Howden Family Trophy (2nd Place) and the Bridie O'Brien Memorial Trophy (3rd Place) and there are 46 dancers in this section.

Senior Men are competing for the McCann Family Trophy and the John & Kathleen Gilroy Memorial Belt (1st Place) and the AIDA Victoria Perpetual Trophy (2nd Place) and there are four dancers in this section.

Senior Ladies are competing for the J.W. & M.K. Currie Memorial Trophy, the Liam Rox Memorial Trophy and the Harry McCaffrey Memorial Tiara (1st Place), the Irish Drovers Trophy (2nd Place) and the Dorothy Beryl Derwent Memorial Trophy (3rd Place) and there are 55 dancers in this section.
